This small deck girder bridge crosses Johnson Creek, alongside Raccoon River Drive.
Built in 1902, this bridge features a single standard size deck girder, set onto concrete abutments. Numerous of these girders were built along this route in 1902.
It is believed that this bridge likely replaced a wooden trestle. Overall, it appears to be in good condition.
The author has ranked the bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design of the bridge.
The photo above is looking east along the bridge. The bridge can be accessed from the nearby country road.
